REST. RESET. RENEW.
Life often feels overly busy. There may be some moments of pleasure and connection, but there is a lot of struggle and exhaustion in between--too much, it may seem. We need REST—for our bodies and souls.
But sometimes we continue to toil. We don’t know what else to do—how to find our way out of the struggle—whether rooted in the past or present. And so, in spite of our best efforts, we find that, our lives are full of too much that we don’t want to do — irritability at family members, ruminating on past hurts, numbing out in front of the TV or social media, compulsive behaviors like overeating or over-working. We need to RESET our minds and hearts.
But sometimes it simply never feels like enough. We begin to feel empty…and perhaps increasingly anxious, numbed out, or depressed, We may begin to wonder, Is this all there is? Am I doing something wrong? We need to RENEW.
My name is Dr. Kristen M. White. I help individuals, couples, and communities Rest, Reset, and ReNEW. Together, we can explore what is working and not—with self, others, and God. We will create a safe place to explore present patterns of dysfunction or disconnection, embolden your emotional resilience, shift underlying self-criticism and shame, heal past wounds and traumas, shift from isolation to healthy interdependence, and establish new rhythms of connection and life.
